Development History
In 2015, Continuous Solutions began work with the US Army to develop a high performance switched reluctance motor controller that would reduce the noise and vibration of an SRM by up to 50%. Through this project, we developed an algorithm called “Torque Ripple Minimization.” Able to reduce the torque ripple by 80%, vibration up to 75% and the noise in decibels more than 50%.
The development of our Genetic Algorithm Multi-Objective Optimization Machine Design (GO-CS), allows us to generate thousands of machine designs and investigate various competing tradeoffs such as: manufacturing tolerances, material variances, alternative materials and geometries, and other aspects that are critical during mass manufacturing.
We aim to continuously develop and prototype technology which pushes our mission forward. Including hardware for switch reluctant machine design and drives, and analysis tools for designing and diagnosing existing machines. We also offer fractional horsepower servo motor repair in industrial manufacturing on the West Coast.
Vetted and trusted by multiple departments in the Government including the Navy and Army, Continuous Solutions has an 80% success rate in obtaining the Phase 1 government contracts we seek.
Continuous Solutions engages in partnerships and offers services ranging from engineering based consulting for product development, as well as technical services relating to renewable energy, energy efficiency and power electronics.
